While I&#039;ve &quot;fixed&quot; food since I was a teenager and started baking in my early twenties, I hadn&#039;t done much serious cooking. During my marriage (happily divorced since May 2011, separated since February 2010), I was always the primary breadwinner and not the primary housekeeper and cook. 

It&#039;s been awesome having the chance to manage my little household and cook. Even better, my boyfriend is not a picky eater. He cheerfully submits to my experiments. I&#039;ve come up with some winners and a few never to be repeated. I&#039;ve got plenty of ideas and recipes to try. Between Chris and the new blog, I have plenty of inspiration to avoid getting in a rut in the kitchen.</description>
